Over the last thirty-seven years, Kevin has created lighting designs for almost 500 professional theatre and opera productions across Canada. 

2017 was his 30th season at the Stratford Festival, North America’s largest classical repertory theatre company. He has designed the lighting for more than 75 Stratford Festival productions. Highlights include critically acclaimed productions of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe (2016), Shakespeare In Love (2016) ,Carousel (2015), Peter Pan (2010), West Side Story (2009) and recent productions of King John (2014) and Pericles (2015) which have been filmed, to be seen in cinemas around the world.

Kevin has designed shows for most Canadian regional theatres, including Neptune Theatre (Halifax), Theatre New Brunswick (Fredericton), National Arts Centre (Ottawa), CanStage (Toronto), Theatre Aquarius (Hamilton), Grand Theatre (London), Drayton Entertainment (multiple venues across Ontario), Manitoba Theatre Centre (Winnipeg), Globe Theatre (Regina), Theatre Calgary, Citadel Theatre (Edmonton) and Vancouver Playhouse. 

Kevin has designed lighting for several shows at Canada's Wonderland in the last few years, including Cirque Ambiente in 2012/13 which was a 2013 winner of the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions "Brass Ring Award" for Live Entertainment, Best Overall Production.

He has lit several productions for Mirvish Productions in Toronto, including King Charles III (2018) at the CAA Theatre, A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum (2010), Medea (2009) at the Canon Theatre, Orpheus Descending (2007) at the Royal Alexandra Theatre and The Drawer Boy (2001) at the Wintergarden Theatre.

Kevin worked extensively with Toronto's Opera Atelier and designed the lighting for most of their productions from 1988 to 2010, both at home in Toronto and on tours to Asia, Europe and the USA. Hilights include The Magic Flute in Toronto (2001, 2006), The Marriage of Figaro in Tokyo (1998) and Dido And Aeneas at the Opéra Royal de Versailles (1995).

Other opera credits include The Marriage of Figaro (2007) and Tosca (1998) for the Canadian Opera Company, The Coronation of Poppea (2001) and Orfeo (1999) for Houston Grand Opera, Peter Grimes for Vancouver Opera (1995) and Jenufa for Edmonton Opera (1994). 

Kevin has received five Dora Mavor Moore award nominations (Toronto) and one Jessie Richardson award nomination (Vancouver). He is a member of Associated Designers of Canada and a graduate of Ryerson Theatre School.
